Deacon Convocation and Mass of Recommitment

The Convocation and Mass of Recommitment for Deacons, scheduled for May 19th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, is a special occasion to honor the ongoing dedication and service of our deacons. The Mass offers a meaningful opportunity for deacons to renew their commitment to ministry, reflect on their vocation, and gather in prayerful unity with the Archbishop and the wider community.
Following the Mass, the Convocation Dinner will feature Brendan Murphy, Director of the Bearing Witness Institute, who will share insights on the significance of Interfaith Dialogue, inspired by the spirit of Nostra Aetate. His presentation will encourage us to embrace dialogue and understanding among different faith traditions, particularly Jewish/Christian relationships. Brendan’s presentation will highlight the enduring importance of building bridges within our communities. We look forward to an evening of fellowship, learning, and renewed inspiration.
Archbishop Hartmayer will be the celebrant for the Mass of Recommitment.
