Metropolitan Tribunal of Atlanta 

The Metropolitan Tribunal handles all matters concerning the application and practice of canon law within the Archdiocese of Atlanta. It also serves as the appeals court for the Atlanta Ecclesiastical Provinces of Atlanta, which includes the dioceses of Charlotte, Charleston, Raleigh and Savannah. In addition, it serves as the Appeals Court for the Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Mobile.

By delegation, the Metropolitan Tribunal also handles all matters of permissions and dispensations pertaining to marriage. 
Our office consists of judges, advocates, notaries and other professionals that support archdiocesan bishops, offices, parishes and institutions.
