Forming Young Disciples
Youth ministry is dedicated to helping young people encounter Jesus, grow in faith and live as disciples in the world. The Office of Evangelization and Discipleship provides resources and support for parish youth programs serving children in grades K-12.
Generally, youth ministry supports students in middle-school (grades 6-8) and high-school (grades 9-12). Younger children, grades K-5, are served through family faith formation and other catechetical formation offered in the parish.
Subscribe to the monthly newsletter from the Office of Evangelization and Discipleship to stay updated on upcoming events and opportunities.
All adults working in youth ministry, faith formation, and any other catechetical ministry with children, youth, and families, including paid staff and volunteers, are required to do a background check and VIRTUS safe environment training before working with youth at parishes.
Visit the Safe Environment webpage for more information.
