Financial Services, Reporting and Support 

The Office of Finance for the Archdiocese of Atlanta provides accounting for archdiocesan offices, parishes, schools and related corporations. The chief finance officer assists the archbishop in directing and guiding the financial, business and administrative affairs of the archdiocese.  

The Office of Finance includes three units – Parish Support Services, General Accounting and Insurance. Parish Support Services coordinates the periodic financial reporting of parishes and schools and offers Shared Accounting Services.

Additional services include: 

  • Payroll processing for all incardinated priests
  • Property and risk for insurance for all archdiocesan parishes and schools
  • Benefits billing for full-time employees
  • Treasury operations including cash investment and construction loans
  • Executive leadership of related corporations
