Financial Services, Reporting and Support
To support archdiocesan parishes, missions, schools, trusts and corporations with financial operations, RCAA Administrative Services, Inc. (RCAA) has been established as a separate entity that delivers required accounting and financial services.
RCAA operates independently and through agreements with AoA Group Health Plan, LLC and the AoA Deposit and Loan Fund, LLC to provide comprehensive services, including:
- Health insurance
- Treasury operations
- Risk insurance
- Retirement plans
- Parish support
- Various accounting services

Chancery Accounting Services (CAS)
Chancery Accounting Services (CAS) manages accounting for our corporations and trusts, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), billings and preparing monthly financial statements. This includes:

- AOA Properties Holding, Inc.
- AOA Deposit & Loan Fund Trust

- Camtuyen Pham: manages accounting functions for archdiocesan corporations and trusts
- Christine DiMartino: prepares financial statements and reconciles customer aging and general ledger accounts
- Anne DeCaro: processes billings for medical, employee benefits and priest’s payroll
- Josie Tran: processes billings for departments and ministries, reviews cash receipts and prepares bank reconciliations
- Terrence Morse: processes outgoing payments and maintains vendor master files
- Ashley Plunkett: records incoming payments and applies payments to corresponding AR invoices
- Alicia Vega: schedules meetings, maintains incoming and outgoing mail, assists with clerical duties upon request
Internal Audit
Internal Audit provides independent and objective assurance and consulting services that improve operations, support effective governance and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls and compliance processes.
We safeguard the resources entrusted to the church through effective internal controls, sound stewardship and compliance with archdiocesan guidelines and applicable laws.
The audit process is a collaborative partnership designed to strengthen internal operations.

Shared Accounting Services (SAS)
Shared Accounting Services (SAS) provides comprehensive financial support for more than 50 parishes, including accounts payable processing, deposit recording and payroll importing; resulting in timely and accurate financial statements.
These services are primarily for locations that cannot financially support a trained accountant as part of their staff.

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta, Inc. (Chancery), formed in 2019 as a Georgia non-profit corporation, operates the offices of the archbishop, the auxiliary bishops, the chancellor of the archdiocese, the tribunal and pastoral ministry functions, vocations functions and such other governance and ministry functions under the direction of the archbishop.
RCAA Administrative Services, Inc. (RCAA), was formed in 2019 as a distinct entity under both civil and canon law. Its purpose is to professionally manage and deliver administrative services to more than 120 entities (parishes, missions, schools, trusts, corporations, etc.) that support the mission of the Archdiocese of Atlanta. Services include health insurance, treasury, risk insurance, retirement plans, Parish Support Services, Shared Accounting Services (SAS) and Chancery Accounting Services (CAS).

Risk Insurance
RCAA manages a comprehensive property and liability insurance program, with core coverages secured through Catholic Mutual Group. We also participate in a liability risk-sharing pool and work with Lloyd’s of London for specialty insurance coverage.
In addition, RCAA retains and manages significant self-insured risk through its protected cell within a sponsored captive insurance company domiciled in Vermont.
