Week before the collection, August 29-August 30
Next weekend, the archdiocese will be taking up the national collection for The Catholic University of America. Founded in 1887 by the U.S. bishops, it is the national university of the Catholic Church in the United States, educating seminarians, religious, bishops and laity to advance the dialogue between faith and reason. By giving to the collection, you support more than 5,000 students who serve the Church and the nation as the Catholic leaders of tomorrow through various scholarships and financial aid programs. Week of the collection, September 5-6
This weekend, the archdiocese will take up the national collection for The Catholic University of America. Founded in 1887 by the U.S. bishops, it is the national university of the Catholic Church in the United States. With 12 schools, 32 research facilities and more than 250 academic programs in the heart of Washington D.C., the University works on behalf of its more than 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students to help educate them to serve the Church and the nation as the Catholic leaders of tomorrow. Your contribution will support various scholarships and financial aid programs and help the University better serve dioceses and parishes through innovative research initiatives and training programs.
