The American Federation of Pueri Cantores, the Vatican-sanctioned youth choral organization of the Roman Catholic Church, warmly invites parish children’s and youth choirs to participate in the inaugural Pueri Cantores Festival in Birmingham, AL, taking place on Saturday, February 27, 2027, at the Cathedral of Saint Paul. The festival will gather young singers from across the region for a day devoted to sacred music, liturgical celebration and choral excellence within the heart of the Church’s prayer.
Pueri Cantores Festivals provide students with a unique opportunity to deepen their Catholic identity through full, active and prayerful participation in the liturgy, while building fellowship with their peers from other Catholic schools and parish programs. We hope this inaugural Birmingham festival will mark a meaningful beginning for Catholic choral collaboration and music education in the region.
