Working closely with clergy, staff, ministry leaders and volunteers, this person is responsible for coordinating and supporting the liturgical and musical life of the parish. This role serves as an organist and pianist for parish events to ensure reverent and spiritually enriching worship experiences for our diverse parish community. Responsibilities include reading sheet music; preparing and coordinating parish liturgies and sacramental celebrations; overseeing and scheduling liturgical ministries; recruiting and forming liturgical ministers; seasonal worship planning; and collaboration with clergy and music for active participation in the liturgical life of the Church. Qualified candidates are Catholic with a strong knowledge of Catholic liturgy and the teachings of the Church, have attention to detail; excellent organizational and communication skills; a heart for servant leadership; and willing to learn, adapt and incorporate the cultural traditions represented within our parish community while maintaining Church norms.
