Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Atlanta is seeking a full-time director of mission advancement and development to lead and enhance the parish through fundraising efforts and strategic leadership. This individual will play a vital role in fostering relationships with parishioners and external partners to secure financial resources that support the church’s mission and future growth. This position focuses on three key areas: cultivating relationships with the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia; providing executive oversight for offertory initiatives, Archbishop’s Annual Appeal and parishioner engagement; and leading capital campaign planning and execution. Additional duties include collaborating with the pastor and staff to advance opportunities that support the long-term mission and vitality of the parish. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of three to five years of experience in fundraising, development or stewardship within a non-profit or faith-based organization. This role provides ongoing technology support and maintenance to ensure the parish’s daily operations run smoothly. The consultant offers general technical assistance to parish staff and ministry leaders; maintains computers, printers, Wi-Fi and network systems; and troubleshoots routine technology issues as they arise. Hours are approximately 10–15 hours per week with a flexible schedule, including some on-site availability and occasional responsiveness to urgent needs. The ideal candidate has a strong aptitude for technology and problem-solving, familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to work independently in a collaborative parish environment. Christ Our King and Savior in Greensboro is hiring for a detail-oriented and trustworthy individual to serve as a part-time bookkeeper/staff accountant. This position supports the parish’s financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions and ensuring compliance with diocesan financial policies and Catholic Church guidelines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity, confidentiality and a commitment to advancing the church’s mission. Responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger, processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing and making bank deposits, reconciling bank statements, managing parishioner contribution records, preparing monthly and annual financial reports for the pastor and finance council, assisting with budget preparation and monitoring, processing payroll and maintaining organized financial files and documentation in accordance with diocesan requirements. Candidates should have at least two years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, can meet deadlines and maintain strict confidentiality. This position supports the pastor and business manager by overseeing financial management, reporting and compliance with GAAP and diocesan policies to ensure the financial integrity of the parish’s mission. Responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger; managing accounts payable and receivable; reconciling bank statements; overseeing parishioner contributions and payroll; preparing financial reports; assisting with budgeting; and maintaining accurate records in accordance with diocesan requirements. Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related experience; 2–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently and strict confidentiality are essential. Experience with Sage, ParishSOFT Accounting and Paylocity is preferred.
