This gathering is sponsored by the Pan African Catholic Organization of Atlanta and the Office of Intercultural Ministries for the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
The Pan African Catholic Organization of Atlanta brings together different African Catholic ethnic groups that are well-represented in metro Atlanta. Twelve communities are founding members, including African Catholic communities from St. Joseph, Marietta; St. Theresa, Douglasville; St. Thomas the Apostle, Smyrna; Corpus Christi, Stone Mountain; and groups of Catholics from Cameroon, Ghana, Gambia, Nigeria, Congo and several French-speaking Catholic communities.
This year’s Mass will be celebrated by Bishop John Nhàn Trần.
