The Office of Catholic Schools proudly announces the winners of the 2026 Scholarship for Academic Excellence. This scholarship is awarded to two rising freshmen planning to attend one of our archdiocesan Catholic high schools. Applicants must be Catholic and rank in the top 15 percent of their class. The scholarship is in the amount of $500 and is awarded to one male and one female applicant and will be renewable in the student’s sophomore year in the amount of $350 if he/she remains in good standing with the school. The overall value of this scholarship is $850 per recipient.
Our female recipient is Miss Alessia Dos Santos from Queen of Angels Catholic School in Roswell. Alessia will continue her education at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in the fall. Wilson Vogtner is our male recipient from St. John the Evangelist Catholic School in Hapeville and will be attending St. Mary’s Academy in Fayetteville in the fall.
