Recovery Retreat for Those in a 12-Step Program

Friday, June 12, to Sunday, June 14
Directed by Ted Benning

Come to rest and renew your heart, mind, body and soul on a silent, guided weekend retreat at Ignatius House. Embrace the peace and beauty of our surroundings, designed to nurture your serenity, help you slow down, listen deeply, rest and pray. Throughout this weekend, you will spend time with the God of your understanding alongside others who are ‘trudging the road of happy destiny.’

The retreat offers a series of reflections that draw on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and their connection to the spiritual journey of 12-Step recovery. Together, we will explore prayers from the Big Book, including the Serenity Prayer, the 3rd Step Prayer, the 7th Step Prayer, the Prayer for Peace (11th Step) and the 12th Step Prayer. This is a silent retreat.

Men’s Weekend Retreat

Friday, June 26, to Sunday, June 28
Directed by Fr. Bill Noe, SJ and Brady Radford, LPC, CPCS

Retreats at Ignatius House introduce participants to important principles of Ignatian prayer and engage them in meditations based on key aspects of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The retreats combine elements of both guided prayer experiences and individual one-on-one spiritual conversations with a spiritual director as well as opportunities for the sacraments of reconciliation and the Eucharist. This is a silent retreat.
