Sensory-friendly Masses at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on May 2

Date: April 20, 2026
To: Priests, deacons, pastors, religious educators and bulletin editors
From: Amanda Wallace, assistant faith formation coordinator, St. John Vianney Catholic Church

Join us for our sensory-friendly Mass on Saturday, May 2, at the 4 p.m. Mass in English and the 6 p.m. Mass in Spanish—a welcoming, prayerful celebration designed with accessibility and inclusion at its heart.

We are also excited to share our sensory-friendly Masses will now be offered on the first weekend of every month (except when there is a major feast), making this beautiful opportunity a regular part of parish life.

These Masses offer a calmer environment with gentle lighting, flexible seating and understanding support for individuals and families who benefit from a sensory-aware setting, while remaining open and meaningful for the entire parish community. Whether you are seeking a more accessible worship experience or simply want to support an inclusive Church where everyone belongs, you are warmly invited.
