This position identifies and develops a core team of leaders to aid in the process of developing, organizing, training, empowering and supporting discipleship teams. Responsibilities include coordinating all parish hospitality and annual events, overseeing the facility approval process, developing event timelines and leading the church’s efforts in building and multiplying deeper relationships with Christ. Must have skills in connecting with people, time management, computer technology, as well as written and verbal communication. St. Gabriel Catholic Church has an immediate opening for a full-time coordinator of faith formation to assist the parish community in building a solid foundation of catechesis. This position is responsible for coordinating all facets of religious education for the church, including the recruitment and training of all volunteers, catechists and aides. Religious education groups include elementary, middle and high school; Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) and adult education. Qualified candidates must take initiative; have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
